About Sankore Senior High
Sankore Senior High School is a Coeducational Institution, situated in Sankore and located within the Asunafo South District of AHAFO Region of Ghana. It’s in a typically cocoa-growing area and as such is heavily forested. VISION of Sankore SHS The vision to be a provider of high quality and affordable secondary education to Ghanaian students in general and the people of Sankore and its environs in particular. Sankore Senior High School was founded as a private school by Omanhene and elders of sankore traditional council on the 26th October, 2009. It started with 3-Block which was built by the predecessor of Nana Okogyedie Yaw Adusei III, omanhene of Sankore Traditional council. However the school project could not start until the reign of Nana Okogyeadie Yaw Adusei III who upon consultation with his elders decided to establish Sankore Senior High School with the help of the deputy regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Asunafo South, Hon. Eric Opoku in October 2009.
