About - Mpasatia Senior High/Tech history

Mpasatia Senior High Technical School was formerly Mpasatia L/A Middle School which became Mpasatia Continuation School and later converted to Mpasatia Experimental School. In 1991, the school was finally made a second cycle institution and became Mpasatia Senior High Technical School. It is located in Mpasatia in the Atwima Mponua District in Ashanti region. At the time of inspection, the school had a total student population of 2,819, made up of 1,550 boys and 1,269 girls with a total teaching staff strength of 106, consisting of 78 males and 28 females. The non-teaching staff strength stood at 67 also made up of 39 males and 28 females. The school currently runs 7 programmes including, General Arts, General Science, General Agriculture, Business, Virtual Arts, Home Economics and Technical. Currently, Mr. Peter Boateng is the headmaster of the school
