About Bankoman Senior High School
Bankoman Senior High School is a notable pre-tertiary institution in the Ashanti region of Ghana that is well placed as an excellent academic institution of holistic education Bankoman Senior High School takes a bold decision to take necessary steps to be recognised at the forefront of institutions with academic excellence. Bankoman Senior High School was established in 2003/2004 academic year as a private community day school. It received support from Anja Vanderbalk, a Dutch Philanthropist, who operated a Non-Governmental Organization (N.G.O.). Her N.G.O constructed 2 3-unit classroom blocks, 6-unit storey building, and 1-unit block which is being used for computer studies. In the 2011/2012 academic year, the school was absorbed into the public stream and Mr. Mohammed Brako was appointed as the first Substantive Headmaster by the Ghana Education Service in Septemter 2012.
